BDC Installation

I am having trouble re-installing one of my servers as a BDC. I get to the setup menu and when it starts to look for my domain it cannot find my domain controller. My PDC is up and running fine. I am putting in all the correct information.

Any ideas?

You stated that you were RE-INSTALLING the BDC. Did you remove the Machine name of the BDC you are re-installing from the PDC?
My suggestion, if you have not already done so, is to remove the Machine Name. Waite the 15 minutes it takes for the domain to cycle itself and try installing the server again. Yes, I know you are saying, "Why not just Syncronize Entire Domain after removing the machine name?" I have tried that and it does not work. I have waited the 15 minutes and it has worked every time.

We recently rebuilt our BDC and was having problems with synchronization. We could complete the setup and everything appeared to be fine, until the system was rebooted. Then it did not want to synchronize. We ended up purchasing a software package called UPromote. This worked great.
