BCMS V2 R3.2

We just upgraded a current Avaya customer running BCMS VU V2 R3.2 build 228, every thing was working fine on there release CM 2. We upgraded them to a S8300 G450 CM5.1
I can not get the BCMS VU server to login. I can login to the BCMSVU account in every way, through the web maintenance interface, ASA, Telnet, SSH. So I know the login is working however I can get the server to connect. Any Ideas?
 
Are you saying that although you can log in to BCMSVU but it isn't retrieving any data?

Did the IP address range change when you implemented the new S8300? Other things to check would be firewalls, port blocking.....all the data(ish) side of things. We had a similar issue during one upgrade as we had assigned a static IP to the old device locked to MAC address, when the new server went in it assigned a DHCP IP address as it didn't recognise the new MAC address. Not sure if this is you're issue but certainly one of the problems I faced on our last round of upgrades.
 
We gave the pc a static Ip address, and we also made sure there internal fire wall was open on all ports.
I know the login "BCMSVU" is working; however when I do the server connection test it does not see the s8300. I made sure the bcms server app, has the correct s8300 ip address. and from that pc I can ping, telnet, ssh, to the s8300. the BCMS will not connect for some reason.
 
Did you Installed the latest version 2.4 plus the patch for login from CM4.0?

 
No we have not done that. I do not have the r 4 software or the patch. the customer has the cd and when I ran the software load V2 r 3.2 build 228 ATAC said it should work.
is the software available for download? I check the download center at behind the avaya firewall, and there was nothing there.
do you have the link and the patch. if so pretty please forward it on.
