I am trying to set up the routing on my BCM50e(release3). WAN port settings:
172.134.189.200/16 Remote IP 172.134.0.1
LAN port settings:
192.168.18.130/28
My BCM is 192.168.18.131/28 g/w - 192.168.18.130

Static Routes:
default = 0.0.0.0 g/w 172.134.0.1 (I would like to change this from 0.0.0.0 to 172.134.0.0 but it won't let me change the default route)
18Plane route = 192.168.18.128 g/w 192.168.18.129 (my cisco switch)
mgmtPlane route = 192.168.18.240 g/w 192.168.18.129

I can access the BCM (172.134.189.200) and the Router via Element Manager when I'm on the WAN network (172.134.0.0).
I can access the Router at 192.168.18.130 when I'm on the 192.168.18.240 network, but I cannot access Element Manager.

From the 192.168.18.240 network, I can ping the router 192.168.18.130 but I cannot ping the BCM 192.168.18.131.

I would like to be able to access Element Manager from the 192.168.18 network....I'm sure I am missing something.
There is very little documentation I can find. Any help would be appreciated.

I should mention this all worked until I changed a route in the router and it went south on me. I then reset it to factory default and have been trying to get it working since. There has been no changes on the BCM.

Thanks,

Why is the BCM showing a g/w of 192.168.18.130 but the cisco is showing a g/w of 192.168.18.129?

Is the subnet mask of each 255.255.255.240?

YOu have to set the BCM g/w to the BCMrouter IP and the BCM Router is the next hop out of the network which is the Cisco router.

I was able to get this to work by turning off the firewall within the BCM Router.
Thanks!

Oh, yeah...you did say the BCM had an internal router...sometimes I don't read everything...
