BCM50b (BRI) and Analog Sets (Global Version)

Does anyone know whether the 4 internal analog sets can be activated on the global model BCM50b (set up for UK profile)? I know the analog trunks cannot be used, but I cannot find anything in the documentation that says that the analog sets cannot be activated on this version, but my supplier says that this only support on NA models.

you are right the docs just talk about trading analog trunks with BRI ...
maybe some one from emea might be able to shed more light (firebirdscrambler, mrmarshall ...)

On the Release 2 version of the BCM50, you can use the analogue trunks in the UK. They are activated via a keycode. We have installed a couple in the UK

option11newby, do you mean analogue sets or analogue trunks? Do you have the Nortel part no. for the keycode so I can quote it to my supplier?

I mean the on board analogue trunks. we have installed on a couple of these now. we normally supply one of the starter packages, and the respective auth code is included in that. I will see if I can dig out the code.

Thanks option11newby, but I actually meant the 4 internal analogue telephone ports that are on the RJ21 connector. I had assumed that these would be available on the BCM50b (i.e. the version that supports BRI rather than analogue trunks), but I have been told that this is only true for the NA version. I know that I can connect analogue phones using the ATA2 but I want to use all 12 digital telephone ports.
