Hi All,

I am having difficulties with setting up some SIP trunks to a SIP provider. The BCM is running rls 3.0 and has a 4-sip-trunk license installed.

I've noticed some people managed to get the trunk up and running.. Can anyone drop me some tips in setting it up?

I usually work with Nortel network equipment (Passports) but am now trying the BCM line for a difference.. (not with much succes though.. but eventually it will work :) )

Does anyone have some sort of quick-start guide?

Cheers

Bas

No quick start guide , it's pretty basic. make sure all of your sip uri map is filled in correctly. Another anoying thing is that they will not work properly if you use music on hold, Nortel is working on that.

Thnx for the reply!

I am still trying but with no luck. I've disabled music on hold just to make sure...

What i've done:

on Resources -> Telephony resources ->IP trunks
- SIP settings:
Fallback disabled
local domain: sip1.belcentrale.nl
call signalling port: 5060

-SIP Authentication:
remote accounts:
Realm: sip1.belcentrale.nl
userid: <mysip_userid>
password: <mysip_password>

The SIP URI Map is left default...

Am i forgetting something??

Is there a way to monitor SIP registration?

Thanks for the help!!!!

Cheers

Bas
