I'm having issues with a BCM50, I am fairly new to this system. The problem I'm having is if someone calls the mail line they get the auto attendant, and if they put in extension 236, they ring ang go to the voicemail of 226. Both phones will have the message light on the phone when they don't have a message

Check the mailbox of 236 that the alt extention is blank and not 226.Also thet the extention is 236.

I checked the mailbox, the extension is 236 and there are no alternate extensions, the weird thing is that an internal 236 call goes to her, but the autoattendant will send a 236 extension to ring and voicemail to 226.

Check mailbox is assigned to 236 and not 226. could have been a typing error when assigning the mailbox to the extn.
Mailbox 236 assigned to 236 (not 226)
The mailbox and the extn showld be the same number.

Thanks for the replies, I have checked that the extension and voicemail boxes match, everything matches correctly. Any other ideas?

I did that also, I deleted and recreated both mailboxes, still the same issue. It's very strange that an internal direct dial will reach the righr VM, and a DID call will reach the right VM, but the auto-attendant sends it ti the wrong one, and the phones will show a message light even when there is no messages.

Check to see if you have anything set in the touch tone gate. Maybe the (two digit) sends calls directly to 226. Or see if you have a hidden path for extension 236 or 226 in the CCR tree if you use one. From what you said the problem lies somewhere within the auto attendant. I would check everything that has to do with auto attendant.

Reboot your bcm,the dn table in the call pilot could be corrupt,a reboot could fix it.
