While poking around inside the bcm I executed srgkeycode. From what I understand this activates the srg mode of the bcm and disables any telset functionality. A reboot is required before for the changes to take effect from executing it and I haven't rebooted yet, so I'm wondering if there's any way to undo what srgkeycode set up?

Alright I managed to get it fixed. I rebooted the bcm50 then did a restore, rebooted it again and the srg keycode was gone, but all the telset settings were missing. I did another restore and it is back to how it was. What I've learned from this: Don't execute files unless you know exactly what they do, even if you use the -? argument.

Only thing is if you generated an SRG keycode on the KRS site you can't generate any other codes for the system. The KRS people would have to remove it so you can add them.

This a good lesson for all wannabe phone techs.

Don't go mucking around in things you don't understand. The results can disastrous for your company's communications and a trip to the unemployment office.

Definitely.

I did this on my test bcm so nothing was at risk.
