I had to change the password from PlsChgMe! and did it a while back. I had been in and out of programming with no problem. I thought the DHCP would conflict onsite tommorow and so I turned off the DHCP and tried to set the IP address. Since then I can't get back in? I can get in under nnguest, but nnadmin and the new password doesn't get me in. Tried to turn DHCP back on and still can't get in? Any ideas? A few times while trying I would get an alarm on the main set of 30100? I need to get back into this and do the install tommorow. Is there something it would have changed to by default? I read I could do a reset, but will that solve my problem? I realize I'll have to put the programming back in place. Keycode too?

Set a static IP adress on your PC

If you are using OAM port, set your PC IP to 10.10.11.2

If you are using the ohter Lan ports set your PC to something like 192.168.1.3

Then you should be able to get in

I can get in as nnguest no problem, but that shows nothing. I had initially changed the password for nnadmin when it forced you on startup to PlsChgMe!! just to keep it similar. I was into programming quite a few times over the duration of programming. I was on the utilities page and used the shutdown procedure where you click reboot to shut down the BCM 50 turning the lights from green to orange before powering down. I had changed the ip adress as I usually change them on other BCM's to not conflict on network? Looks like I should reset but don't know if that puts the default password back in place? Need to know.

If you still can access the system , try to do a system restore if you did a back up which will restored all including your nnadamin password.

Try the password with cap lock on ?

If you do a level 2 reset by using the paper clip on the recessed push pin , you will default the BCM50. You will lost all the programm & keycode . The only thing that was intacted is the software patches but you can regain the nnadmin with P********

You can refer the level 2 reset procedure from the BCM50 CD or online document . Basically just push when system change status boot up diagnostic light change .

Do Feature 9*8. if your configuration is default the documentation says User ID: Setnna (738662) password config 266344. hit the next softkey twice to get to IP Address select ok softkey. under the IP address selection Hit CHNG. then you should have multiple selections of IP ENL BACK under the DHCP: Disabled selection. Chose IP softkey and it should display the ip address. go to a pc and type ping to that address. You should get a reply back.
