BCM50 SMDR output

Can someone please explain in simple terms how i turn the SMDR funtion on a BCM50 v.3 system.

I need to output the data to a call management package and just need to know where to go to do this.

Do you have this;

Norstar SMDR6 - NT8B95AAAE SMDR 6 receives SMDR data from telephone system for output to a recording device. Requires 1 telephone station port. Records caller ID. SMDR data can be printed on a serial printer or output to call accounting software.

i believe in element manager you get an option to enable CDR (call detail recorded). Chose push or pull and download from the BCM the cdr client.
