I have 2 BCM50s 1 R3 the other R5. I have all the MCDN and SIP gateway keycodes installed and enabled. All patches are up to date.
I have all my call routing, destination codes, target lines, line pools, etc etc configured correctly ( I believe). The WAN is a VPN. I can make make phones ring calling from one side of the VPN to the other but as soon as someone (or voicemail) picks up, the call drops.
I've been told that all the ports needed for SIP and RDP have been allowed through the firewalls.
Also I can set up a remote IP phone (IP1120e) across the VPN and make it work remotely with no problems with the firewalls. Although I'm not sure if the phone uses SIP/RDP or not.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using IP phones at each site. If so test from a digitak set. If the call is successful with a digital set, the problem is with addressing on the IP sets. Make sure both phones have the correct default gateway and mask. Call setup is local phone to local BCM to remote BCM to remote phone but talk path after the phone is answered is from local phone to remote phone so addressing must be correct otherwise the call is dropped. Using digital or analog sets to make your test calls will remove that variable.

Yes both sides are IP phones. Thanks for the ideas. I'll try them and let you know the results.
