BCM50 Rls 1 with IP KEM

A customer has a BCM50 Rls1. They are using one IP phone IP2004. They bought a IP KEM from the Internet and got me to install it. After installing it, I realized it didn't work. The KEM seemed to initialize fine. But the buttons don't work. I then googled it, and read something about a patch and a keycode are required for BCM50 Rls 1 to use IP KEM. Anyone has experience on this. What is the patch called and what keycode is required. Thanks for any reply!

Keycode is not required for an IP KEM.

I would suggest installing the Core and SU System at a minimum.

Thanks Supportdude. Do you know for sure the patches will take care of the issue (get the IP KEM to work with BCM50 Rls 1)? I also read some comments, at other posts here, saying that IP KEM was not supported in BCM50 Rls 1. Can you clarify that? Thanks a lot.

The 200x KEM is only supported on BCM 50 Rls 2 and later, BCM 200/400 Rls 4 and later, and BCM 450 any release.
