BCM50 rel 2.0 Forward to wrong mailbox

Hi, i have a BCM 50 rel 2.0 with ip trunks between site. all extension have voice mail . when i call an extension i end up on other extesion voice mail, in my case i call 7227 and end on 7228 mailbox even if 7227 is not in use. I can only reach 7227 when 7228 is not in use. I checked all my mailbox and they have the good extension. i checked my target lines are all ok, forward no answer and busy go to voicemail extension 7395. Can't find any patches that could help me! should an upgrade to 3.0 resolve my problems???

Check the Answer DN;s to see if 7228 is set to anwser 7227.
 
I just checked the answer DN's, nothing is programmed there....
still looking..... any other ideas???? Thanks
 
I had this happen a while back on a couple of systems. I think you're going to have to have a look at your target lines. I found a few that "magically" had other sets assigned to them.
 

Check the prime set of all target lines used for individuals and assign them accordingly.
Change the transfer callback an DRT to prime to 6 or 10.
 
I had this happen to me before and I found that the target line for both DN's was the same. Check your target lines again.
 
Deleted mailboxes, changed dn's, check and recreated target lines with new ones. Also changed transfer call back and drt
I will see wath happens from there.

By the way thanks to everybody that takes the time to read and give answers, very appreciated
 
Go it working, erase the target lines for both extension, recreated them and noticed that the customer had checked the set relocation and exchange some extension at the same time, the system seems to have mixted up the forward to voicemail. Thanks to everyone who gave me some tips!
