Hello,

We recently upgraded a BCM50 R1 to R5 and are still having an issue that haunted us on R1. If I set the volume of an IP phone ringer (F *80) the phone will keep the setting but does not preserve it on reboot.

Is there a way to resolve this issue? Does anyone else have the same problem? In global resources I have receiver volume set to 'use set volume', not sure if this makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for any comments / suggestions!

Yes I see the same result ona Release 5 BCM 50.

Do you also get the router not present alarm?

Not yet (touch wood). I have done one upgrade from R1 BCM50e and have a second BCM50 to do still.

Ah ok - if you have upgraded a 50e then the router is there on that model so I assume you won't get the problem.

I upgraded a BCM 50 (with no router) from 2.0 to 5.0 and do get this problem.

I have loaded SU-001 for Rel 5 which makes it worse (more frequent).

Good to know, I will have to take a look and see if my other BCM is an 'e' as we may postpone the upgrade.

Thanks!
