Hi Guys, I'm probably missing something really silly but I've got a newly provisioned ISDN30 PRI circuit connected to my DTM-PRI MBM in expansion chassis 1 (on a BCM50 r3) and I can't get dial tone (9). It's properly configured in Telephony Resources as DTM-PRI, enabled and the correct 8 channels allocated in 'Provision Lines' (065-072). If I look in Administration, Hardware Inventory it sees the expansion chassis but nothing is present for the MBM info (all greyed out). When I look in Administration, Telephony Metrics, Trunk Module Metrics it shows the trunk module as DTM-PRI in expansion chassis 1 no loopback running but of I click on 'B Channel Status' they're all greyed out and 'idle' (can't change). Incoming ringing works fine, I receive calls on trunk 065 onwards.
Any help gratefully received!

There is no dial tone by default on PRI/ISDN/VOIP/SIP lines.

You just dial out. 9 XXX-XXX-XXXX

You can provide it for those clients that insist on it but it is not true dial tone from the carrier.

Look under DialingPlan/Routing/SecondDialTone.

Ah, Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer! When I press 9 for a line I get the message 'no free lines'.

You need to set up a route to dial out.
Dest 9 route 001
Route 001 bloc b, overlap

Assign the extns to pool bloc b so as they can dial out.

Ahah! Yep, that makes sense! Have reprogrammed as you suggested, working fine! Thanks!
