BCM50 - Network Element log viewer not working

I'm trying to view logs from several BCM50's using Business Element Manager 2.05.0 and it's throwing an error. The error window is titled "Log Browser - Error message" and in the box the text "For input string:" appears with three random characters in quotes after.

This is happening on XP and Vista, and also with the older, BCM50 Element Manager version 1.0.0 Build 524. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who knows the solution. I'm fairly desperate to read the logs as I have one problem system.

OK, it never occurred to me that the exported log file might be an archive. Bringing up WinRAR to look at the file I saw the individual logs.

I don't know if anyone else was confounded by this, so I'm hoping this is helpful. I sure didn't see this approach in the BCM help.
