Hey Everyone,
Today has been a very strange day to say the least.
This morning I checked my IP phone and noticed that the banner was missing and using the intercom resulted in silence.
I immediately got a call from the office saying that nobody could dial out. Everybody uses a Line Pool and the first line (Line 5) was reporting "Not in Service".
I rebooted the BCM and everything was good again for an hour, and then it happened again (although my IP phone was okay this time).
I had to remove Line 5 from the line pool to allow people to dial out. After checking the BCM monitor, it states that Line 5 is "Active" however it does not indicate anybody is connected to it.
Our system is a BCM50 2.0, with a 4x16 expansion module (which line 5 is connected to). After work tonight, I am going to head into the office and physically turn off the BCM and the Expansion module. My only guess is that maybe since the 4x16 has never been powered off since it was installed; maybe it needs a reboot.
I patched my system to the latest software about a week ago; however this is the first day I've ever expereienced a problem like this.
Has anyone else seen this occur before?
