I have to be overlooking something. I have a BCM50 and I'm trying to program a line out on an m7100. All of my lines are in Pool A and the extension has been told to use Pool A. What else do I need to do to make this phone grab an outside line when the receiver is picked up? I have other phones in the building that have Lines mapped to the buttons on the phone and those lines do work. I just can't seem to get the M7100 to grab a line when the receiver is picked up.

Set your "PRIME LINE"
i.e.
Intercom or s specific line.

Try dialing 9. If it's prime is the poolor a line then you can call other extensions make prime I/C and use the pool code . The lines need to be in a pool usually pool A.

It's in System programming /Access codes. You also have to go into the lines programming and change the lines from Public to pool A. All that you want to be able to dial out on. Then in the sets give access to pool a.

You are asking "grab a line when the receiver is picked up"
You indicated already that lines are in a pool and sets have access to the pool then you need to do exactly as I mentioned.
PRIME LINE is for when a receiver is picked up and answers the question directly.

Is your issue getting out via Intercom plus a code or grabbing a line when the receiver is picked up or both?

On 7100 sets they will only prime to the intercom no matter what you set it to ie. pool a, line xxx, it's just the way they work. If a customer really has a issue with dialing a access code you can program the one button to be a line pool key/feature 649.
