BCM50 line 63 has a modem noise when accessing

We have a BCM50 rls 6. When accessing line 63 we get a modem noise and cannot dial out. We removed the POTS line from line 63 and we get the same noise. The other problem is while line 63 is idle it rings to the prime set, even though there is no dial tone on the line. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

If nothing is connected to the port then try changing 063 from public or pool to Private to reception, test then change it back.
Make sure the Prime Set in Lines is reception and not the modem.

Did you try a reboot?
