Hi All, first time posting and bit of a newbie... I have a BCM50 setup in my small office with 4 handsets and a door station. I need to know if I can set the following up. When a customer presses the door station I have that ringing a hunt and all stations ring (works great) how ever I need it setup so if no one is onsite after the 4 stations ring out I need it to ring my mobile phone so I can talk to the client at the front door from off site. Can this be done? I have a BCM50Ver3 I have 3 PSTN lines (no ISDN) any help would be much appreciated!!!

You would need a spare phone or use a kitchen or computer room phone that does not have a mailbox behind it or any lines told to ring at it...
Overflow the hunt group to that phone after 15 seconds
Forward the phone to your mobile.

For external forward:
Allow Redirect for that set
Make sure lines are in a Pool (if they are POTs/Copper) such as Pool A
Setup a separate Route (such as 007) to dial your mobile # and tell it to use the Pool A (or BlockA for PRI)
Setup a Dest code such as 7
Have Dest 7 code use Route 007

To External Forward from that set just do Feature 4 7 OK

Another method would be to use Answer DN keys on all sets including that spare instead of Hunt Groups and program the mobile number into the Call Forward No Answer field on that spare set.
You would need to make sure no lines are assigned to that set since all calls will forward based on timer.
Hunt Groups ignore CFNA settings.

that's great thanks for that! so simple should have thought of that.....

Hi curlycord, I set that up as you suggested but when it rings my mobile when I answer I can not hear the door phone and the door phone can not hear me. when I hang up my mobile the door phone holds onto the line and does not hang up any ideas? If I ring the DN with the call forward from a normal hand set it ring my mobile fine and audio works in both directions. same if I answer door phone on a handset before the forward audio works fine
cheers
Jason

Lines not disconnecting - In Lines make sure Trunk Mode is set to Supervised.

It seems I suggested a few times for people to use Analog Door Phones for this type of scenario...perhaps the digital ones do not understand the conference call created by the overflow (or target) dn.
Algo or Viking make them if you want to try them.
