Does anyone know if its possible to export anything (config, auto-attendant, users, call flow, voicemails) from a BCM50 to an Avaya IP office? My customer just had the BCM installed 3 years ago but is converting to a ip office to scn with the rest of the town and was wondering if this was possible.

It depends on what release the BCM 50 is on. The data migration manager can be used to export the BCM info and convert that to an IP Office config file.

I tried it during the field trials and it works. I prefer to build the IPO from scratch, that way I know what is being put in the configuration. BCM 50's aren't typically very large systems, so it doesn't take long to build the IPO from the ground up. You can export the CallPilot AA/CCR greetings as WAV files and import them info VM Pro to save time on the auto attendant piece.

Indeed, while a tool exists the systems are ploes apart when it comes to features and functionality, it's best to start over and give them what the IP Office does best not what the BCM did best :)
