BCM50 calls still going on HOLD even with AutoHold set to NO

I have a BCM50 rel 6. I have “auto hold” set to NO. When on a call (analog lines), either incoming or outbound, and I want to answer the second call ringing, my first call still goes “ON HOLD” and it will not release. This is frustrating if the call is someone’s voice mail or my voice mail. The only way the call releases is if I go back to the line and drop the call. The call will drop, if the distant end hangs up the call.

What settings need to be changed to get the call not to automatically go on hold, just simply disconnect?

Thanks Curly, I thought this may have also been an issue on some MICS's. I have the Answer Supervision set to SUPER. I also have the lines set to NO on Auto Hold. I have another 20 yr tech who is stumped on this one, with me. The CO is from the LEC. Any other help would be sincerely appreciated.
