Hi,

We have a fax machine connected to an analog line in the BCM50. Within Business Element Manager for the DN we have set the Public OLI to the number we want, but when sending faxes (and doing test calls) from the fax machine it is coming up with the main company telephone number.
Setting the Public OLI for other DNs works perfectly, but not the analog line.
Any ideas why?

Kind regards,
Alex

The outgoing Public OLI might have to be set to a valid number and perhaps that is the reason why it's not working. Best to also check your target lines and compare what you have there against the OLI data on the extension. You could also change the private OLI setting?.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Thanks norstarboy125, how do you set a CLID on an analog line?
Within the target lines, the particular line we are looking at does have the correct "Pub. Received #"

Line Trunk Type Name Control Set Line Type Prime Set Pub Received # Priv. Received # Distinct Ring
157 Target Line Fax 200 Public 314 8361XX None

Under the Assigned DNs we have the DN of the fax machine
DN Appearance type apprearences Caller ID set Vsmg Set
242 Ring only 1 ticked unticked

Thanks,
Alex

Target line programming is also for digital lines like PRI.
The only thing you can do is have the fax line separate with it's own line or
-Program fax machine to dial *67 (Block Caller ID)
or
-Program the ATA to Hotline/External/Pause(F78)/ *67
Something like that.

Alex
Did you ever get this working?
And what version Outlook?
