Hi All,
I have a BCM50 that went in to replace an old Panasonic key system. We left the lines as analog loop-start CO lines, and we're having a problem with calls not releasing from a CallPilot mailbox.
The Carrier is an independent LEC, and is seems that when the caller hangs up, the CO is returning a brief period of silence, followed by brief ringback as the connection is transferred to intercept treatment (Can't complete your call, please hang up and try again, or something similar). CallPilot continues to record until the message time limit is reached, and then disconnects.
The line setting is Unsupervised, because I'm guessing that's what they are.
I've looked through the NTPs, but can't find anything describing what the CallPilot uses to sense a disconnect on a loop-start line - like silence, dial-tone, busy tone, all of the above, etc. - and whether the settings can be modified.
Can anyone enlighten me, and/or provide a suggestion? Thanks.
