We have received a new BCM50 to install for a customer. I have checked all of the patches available online and applied them - this system is fully patched.
The system ships with a defaulted 3 digit dial plan, however the customer wants 2 digits. I have read the documentation and it stats that I can go from 2 to 7, and that I can actuall go from 7 to 2 (from a 5 or 4 to a 3 for example). It does state some service need to be restarted when you do this.
Well when I do it, I get an that states something like Error Happened, Error 2: 2-Digit DNs are not supported. Is this something new? Do I have to delete something before I attempt to change from 3 to 2 digits? I'm rather confused as the BCM50 itself and the documentation pretty much say you can do it. Where am I going wrong?
