anyone experience any issues networking 2 bcm50 2.0?

using h323. ive configured srgs but never never networked two bcms together.

No problem as I just have them in simple 4 digit dialling between 2 BCM50 v2 sites . Trick is make sure that network is open and up to the task. I did not even use QOS since my VOIP traffic between site is so little in DS3 MPLS pipe.

I had SIP first but got so little support from Nortel so I reverted back to H323 as my future plan is to link one BCM50 to Avaya S8700. SIP is not guaranteed to work with Avaya as I was told that each vendor has different implementation.

I have not try remote access package to get remote dial tone yet.

Hope this help.

do i need the voip gateway keycodes to make the connection between the two sites?

Yes. You have to get keycode NTC0222x ( 1, 2, 4 , 8 trunk ) for each BCM ( H 323 ) which can have up to 12 max . Just put them in a pool to access them.
