BCM450R1 - Line/Extension Visibility

Hello all,

We have a BCM450R1 and our executive assistant had the ability to see when our GM was on a call with a arrow visible on her phone beside one of the buttons. Our BCM locked up the other week, it needed to be rebooted and her programmed phone settings were reset loosing this functionality.

Basically she just wants to see when he's on a call from her phone. I have played around with DN and line assignments and unable to get this working the way it was previously. I assigned his line to her phone, the line is visible as button 1 in the Button Programming Table under BEM but cannot get the visual indicator working. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Her phone is a T7208 if relevant.

I thought it was that simple but this is not working. I tried it on my phone as well and no visible icon for the extension. When I press the programmed button, it rings the assigned extension but nothing showing when that extension is in use. Is there a setting in BEM to trigger this feature or perhaps we need to reboot the unit? Thanks for the quick reply/guidance
 
Sounds like the button was assigned as an answer DN. You have to assign those through Element Manager. Just click on active sets and one of tabs under line access is called Answer DNs. Just assign it there as you would a line or target line.
