BCM450 v6 Won't Recognize ASM Media Bay Module

Previous to hardware/software upgrade, BCM was 400 version 4, and ASM Media Bay module worked fine.

After hardware/software upgrade to 450 v6, I cannot get the ASM to Enable. Tried changing physical bay location, and tried various DIP switch settings.

I have applied the BCM450.R600.SU.System-012.201207 patch. Is there possibly another interim patch that needs to be applied?

we had this issue before

first of all , all dipswitches need to be turned on for the 450

we had one that the 450 fried the asm

popped in a new one and it worked fine

but first make sure all dip switches are on and reboot the thing
