I recently installed a BCM450 with a PRI for a company in town.. They wanted to be able to hold and pick up calls between locals - the only option I could find to do this with target lines was to use SWCA or System wide call appearances. that seems to be working properly but the only problem I'm finding with this is that once a call has been tagged to one of the SWCA keys it will not allow that call to be transfer directly to voicemail by using F986. it will put the call on hold and even ask for the mailbox # but won't actually transfer the call? it just stays on the SWCA key? regular transfer works perfectly... any ideas?

You need to set the SWCA control settings to Manual.

This way you can then use the features such as f986.

Manually -while parked
The user either presses a free SWCA key on the telephone, or dials the feature code for a free key. Once the call is retrieved, it is unassigned from the SWCA key.

Manually - life of call:
The user either presses a free SWCA key on the telephone, or dials the feature code for a free key. When the call is retrieved, it remains assigned to the SWCA key. The key is freed only after the call is terminated.

Yes it has two intercom buttons.

And thanks, I'll try that!
