BCM450 SoftPhone i2050

Guy's I'm installing a Softphone on a BCM450 Version 10.0.1.04.138 and was wondering is there a way to hav the softphone have the same ext as there office phone or will I need to give it a new ext. and add his ext. to it .

Has to be a unique extension, but you can point the same target line to the softphone if you want.

If you don't have DID's then you could just program a answer dn key on the soft phone.
