I have a BCM450 which keeps failing to startup. The lights turn on and cycle through the relevant lights but then it goes Orange/orange and restarts the sequence. Is this a HDD issue or something else?
Please read other threads that I've done on this problem. As you have a BCM 450, I'm fairly certain that the circuit board that sites in the middle of the chassis, connecting up the power unit, motherboard and modules has got bad connections that go hr when heated up.
I've now know of 3 sites this year that have all had the same fault. If you are lucky, just replace the part or chassis and swap out the Hard Disk / Motherboard as it is all housed together on the front. That way, you won't need to migrate the keycodes.

No, unless your hard disk has failed. I've only had one 450 go faulty. To prove my point, leave the BCM powered down for a while and cool the dodgy part down. Power it up again and it might last a couple of hours before it gets hot again and starts rebooting.
