Hi Guys, got a new bcm450 install coming up with a pri and a combination of about 60 digital and ip sets. The customer also has a branch office in another city with about 30 users that they want to use the new bcm450 too.
Question: is it practical to set up the branch office with all ip sets hanging off the new 450 or would installing a bcm50 and voip trunks at the branch be a better solution?

I would go the 50 networked to the 450 route. Call quality will be better, no 911 issues, less bandwidth needed between sites, more redundency, and probably cheaper.

Many thanks, we'll push the customer in that direction.

Also thanks to everyone at tek-tips - a tremendous resource.
