BCM450 Release 6 CCR Greeting repeats twice before transfer to attendant

Searching previous posts indicates this problem has existed in previous releases of the BCM software with varying fixes.

Customer is complaining about the CCR menu recording repeating twice before transferring to attendant. Is this the new normal behavior, or is this a lingering bug from previous BCM releases?

Previous posts from a few years back suggested making changes to the V/M type (CallPilot vs. NVM) but not all responses indicated this worked, and it was version-specific.

About the only suitable fix I can think of is to change the Company Greeting associated with the CCR tree to indicate something like "Rotary dial callers will hear the menu twice before automatically transferring to the operator." It does mean a rotary dial caller needs to wait a long time.

Any thoughts?
 
It's not new, it happened on all our 400's and when upgraded to 450 R.6 remained as well.
We advise rotary callers to remain on the line and your call will be answered.

If you use the silly Touchtone Gate it eliminates the repeat as it sends the caller to the attendant prior to the ccr tree in the first place but then again we declined using it----why would I punish a Touch Tone user by forcing them to do an extra step? Most of the carriers here have stopped providing rotary years ago. The largest LEC had applied to end rotary signalling but withdrew the application.
