BCM450 REL6 CALL FORWARDING

This is probably a stupid question: A user forwards his deskphone to his cell ( basic forwarding ) He wants the Caller ID on his cell to display the person trying to contact him. This is not possible right becuase the call going to his cell is now coming from one of the trunks in his switch? Any ideas would be grat, thanks.

Is it a PRI - you can program his direct dial in the OLI and if this doesn't work, make a call to the trunk vendor and have them release their outgoing caller ID which is usually the main billing number and tell them you have outgoing line id already programmed in your system. I just encountered this with one of my customers and it worked fine then to their cell phones. Hope this helps, Joyce Widmayer
