Hello Got a bcm450 r1.0 with a combination of 80 digital and IP sets and two PRIs. A "back line" is programmed to ring the
call pilot and be answered on zero rings. This works perfectly with greeting 1 playing followed by the custom menu prompt. The main number rings a hunt group that overflows to another hunt group that overflows to the call pilot. When calls overflow to the call pilot a canned greeting plays that says "the person you are calling is not available". We need
greeting 1 to play at this point. I know one of the gurus at Tek-Tips can tell me what I'm missing. Thanks in advance.

Instead of overflowing to call pilot, have the target line answered after so many rings in the call pilot lines admin.

Thanks bluemr2.
I'm trying to avoid setting it this way because I've got several bcm call pilots that will frequently misbehave and answer calls on zero rings when programmed to answer on 3-6 rings in lines admin. Some of these systems are patched and others aren't.
How do I play greeting 1 when calls overflow from a broadcast hunt group to the call pilot DN on a target line ?
Thanks in advance

Use a service DN set up and assigned to the hunt group extn Number.

call pilot-configuration-service directory DN

Service DN 461 to match the huntgroup..
press ADD
enter extn number.
press greeting table and select the table you want to use.
Add a caption Description about the service .

Now when the hunt group overflows it will go to greeting table you selected

Thanks snowman Will remote in asap and enter changes that you mention. Will post outcome after testing. p.s. thanks to all at Tek-Tips for strong technical advice.

Set up service dn and assigned to hunt group - works great!
Thanks again
