I am trying to add another IP extension to our existing phone system.

I went through as I normally do and added a new extension when the phone booted up looking for a DN.

Now it gives the error 'NO PORTS AVAIL'

I am assuming this is a resource issue.

I am not sure how to add additional resources to the IP sets, and/or if I need to take resources away from something else.

Any advise would be great.

Thanks,

Moth

Go to System/Licenses and view what you have for key codes.

You might have some IP phones that are no longer in use. You can deregister them and therefore have spare ports.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Agree check your key code licence file for ip telephony clients

Also go to telephony resources
Look at ip phones and see how many have been allowed.
Usually 16 extns allocated on default

If you need to increase this then select ip phones
Select configure
It will start at the next free extn number( change this if you want to start at a different number)
Assign the settings as required
Add the amount of additional ip extns you want to create.
