BCM450 GASM will not enable 3

Hello all,
I upgraded a BCM400 rel 4 to a BCM450 Rel 6.All the cards came up fine except 1 - GASM8 has the flashing Avaya light..It is in the Exp cabinet and the dip switches have been verified..We have tried another card but it gets the same problem.I have deactivated and reactivated and same problem...Any help would be appreciated..

Have you checked out the Bus settings are not conflicting?. Are yo able to disable / enable the module?.

Yes I have double and triple checked they are set per the Element manager..I also found an old post saying to try setting the dip switch 1 to force it to download on the Mode/country switches...I am waiting to see if that works..

It may sound obvious. Do you have the expansion cabinet license for BCM450?

Expansion Cabinet License is "new" item in BCM450 platform

Yes there are other cards in the expansion cabinet..
The main unit has a gasm in it so I swapped the gasm cards to see if it was a bad card and the one I put in the expansion cabinet which worked fine in the main now just blinks..The gasm card I took from the exp and put into the main works fine...
So the card is good

Is the 450 patched current? There was a problem with the 8X16 cards stuck in the enabling state and the latest patches correct the problem.

i have 2 GASM8 cards in the 450 expansion unit..the first one works fine but the second one flashes as you describe.

Before i did the upgrade of this system from 3.7 with expansion to bcm450 the 2 cards where flashing like this already.

With the upgrade completed only 1 card works and the other doesn't.
The 3rd and 4th card, 2 x 32+ mbms work fine..

dont know the answer for this.
Dip switches correct .
