I replaced power supply and rebooted machine but does it usually take a long time to bootup and I do not see activity on HDD-1 and should I?

might need to replace the hdd

also make sure there is no usb plugged into it

the bcm tries to boot off it if so

Check if the hard drive has been inserted properly in the Left Drive.
If you have taken it out you may have either not pushed it Home properly or put in in the wrong drive slot.

Do you see activity on the leds Power and System )left side(
Check your install manual for the correct sequence as there may be a clue there

Recheck you have connected the power cables properly.
2 on the base board
2 on the Module board.

Try another power supply.

Does the system boot up with the MBM cards removed.
I have seen some systems being brought down due to a faulty MBM card.

snowman good with the try another power supply forgot to add that

i have had a few so far that i replaced the power supply and it didnt come up.

Threw another one in and it came up fine.

and i am assuming you are using the new 450 power supplies, they are in fact different from the 400
