I have a BCM450 Release 5.0 with the current Peps loaded and when I backup the system, After it stops Voicemail and restarts Voicemail the lines assigned to AA and Call Center will not answer. I have to Feature 982 and set lines to "Answer No" then "Answer Yes" to get them to answer and not RNA. Any fixes for this?
Thanks,

Try just restarting the voicemail service and see if you get identical results as the backup.

Are the lines configured to answer with 0 rings? Type of lines used?

How do I restart "voicemail services? I notice when the backup is performing it states "stopping voicemail services" then I believe it states "starting voicemail services". I tested the auto attendant and the Call center flow before going on site with a test analog media bay module and it did not do this. Now that it is on site and connectec to 2 each PRI circuits it does it with the Target lines associated with the PRI. Now that the BCM is online testing with the Analog Media bay is not available. The auto attendant and the Call center lines are set to answer on zero rings. I was at least glad to find that toggling "Feature 982" answer lines gets it back answering
correctly. I remember back in the old days with MICS that if I made changes to the line configuration or services that I had to sometimes toggle the Feature 982 answer lines to get the lines to answer.

I know from previous experience that the backups do stop the call centre and the agents are forced logged out.

Normally i tell them to log back in when the backup is completed,

I dont have to do f982.

Thanks Snowman50. I dont know why I have to perform Feature 982.

Under the Administration tab, under the first +, then click on services. You will see voicemail at the bottom and have the ability to STOP or RESTART. I recommend STOP then START rather than a RESTART for this service.
