This might be a real rookie question but I have searched the Nortel docs high and low and came up with nothing. We are deploying a BCM450 with 1140e phones and when attempting to manually configure the set and register it to the BCM it is asking for an admin password. So the process I am using is:
1. Power on the phone
2. When I see NORTEL enter soft keys left to right 1,2,3,4
3. Display showing Enter Admin Password.
I have tried color*set, config, admin with no success.
Additionally I have set in the element manager to allow set reg. and deleted the global password. Any help in this issue would be greatly appreciated. As of now I have enabled DHCP and getting the phones up but this is not the way I would like to configure it. Thanks Justin
