Hi All,

I have BCM450 6.0 that currently has 8 VOIP Gateway trunks enabled. I have added an additional 6 to bring it up to 14. It took the license file no problem but the issue is the trunks do not show up. under all lines it shows lines 1-8 as voip trunks then 009 thru 031 as PRI(active in slot 4) loop trunks 32-35 then skips right to target lines. there has to be a way to add more ip trunks but i am not finding it.

any ideas?

I do believe that one of the requirements in the 450 for voip trunks is that they be numerically contiguous. You're going to have to reconfigure that PRI so you can add your additional voip trunks to the original 8 so they number from 1 to 14 at least. I susally configure the system with at least the first 48 trunks reserved for the voip whether I need them or not.

telcodog is correct click on the analog renumber then the pri card and renumber.

You could leave the analog where they are unless you're planning on having more than 31 VoIP trunks. Just renumber the PRI as cook1082 suggested. I usually start PRI at 65.

The old Norstar's did a good job of reserving specific line numbers for specific trunk type.

Since they brought so much of the Norstar programming over I have always felt they should have kept the order and just added the VoIP Trunks to the end - not the beginning.
