Hello All,

With the new systems not having a MSC, is there a way to replace the BFT without loosing the system ID? Transferring the keycode file to another system id is a pain, especially on a weekend.

Anyone figured this puzzle out?

Cheers

You transfer the license file in the same way we always have. The 50s and 450s don't have an MSC card but they do have a sysid associated with their respectice BFTs.

Just go to KRS and migrate the licenses to the new sysid any time of day or night. When it asks for RMA #s and case #s, just put in whatever you want. You will however be required to open a case later as reference for when you return failed unit.

Had to do it myself just last week at 4 AM.
