Hello All,
My dilemma is that the actual time that shows on the Nortel telephones is approx 60 to 90 behing real-time which shows correct in element manager. Never new it to be a problem until now. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks

Earl

If you change the time then reboot the system.
Also check if the system is getting the time from an NTP server which maybe incorrect.

no time was changed and the clocking is being retrieved from our FTP site which is on the money. Sys has been reset already x2. I know the bcm cfg runs off the MSC and not the hard drive which make me wonder if thats why it's lagging, just hasn't caught up? Of coarse the customer wants it corrected now but am not 100% sure theres a problem??

NTP

Try so other sites for testing:

Have you tried using CLID for time?
Have you tried manually changing the time and then rebooting?
Are the patches up to date with SU 34? some patches fixed time issues.
Does the BCM have the proper gateway setup to reach the outside world/internet?

Some not related, just throwing stuff out there.

Put the time forward by 12 hours
Check the phone has updated first.
Then put it back to the correct time.

Has worked for me in the past.on 4.0 systems
