I have a BCM400 Rls 4.0 and I want to view the "raw" cdr records. Can they be viewed in raw format without installing a CDR key code? If so where can I view the records? In the past I believe I could do this in a BCM400 Rls 3.6.
Thanks,

Hi,

configure CDR for example to ftp them off the BCM.

If you take a backup, rename the backup to a .tar, then use an application such as winrar to extract the files. You'll be able to extract all the CDR records, as they are included in all backups.

Unless you had the cdr clients in mind, same applies for 4.0 as does for 3.x.

regards
paul

Thanks for the info. I will give it a try. If I wanted to purchase a 3rd party CDR application, is there a BCM CDR key code needed to be installed?

Good stuff, thanks. I unzipped the .Tar backup, unzipped the .Tar CDR file and then opened the CDR file with word Pad. Just waht I was looking for.
