Customer has a 400(4.0...i think) with Call Pilot. As of just recently, the call pilot manager cannot be launched from the element manager. When I click the button, absolutely nothing happens. I have no problems getting in through TelSet. I rebooted the entire system tonight and shut it all the way down the second time just for good measure. However, I still cant launch the CP manager. Anybody had this issue before? Thx in advance.

can you get in directly if you type the ip address of the bcm with /callpilotmanager on a browser?

I had a customer with the same problem and it was a java issue. The problem occured after a java update. Once they un-installed all was well again.

Try going to internet explorer-open up TOOLS menu-Internet options.

Then select Programs.
Check the box is ticked for internet explorer set as default browser.

This will allow you to open call pilot web page

There was recently a patch added but I didn't do it, and apparently they have not been able to launch CPM via Element Manager since the patch was added. However, bigg3r's suggestion will suffice for the customer ......for now.
Thanks everyone.

Did you try reinstalling EM or downloading the most recent version from the Nortel site?

DID you try my suggestion as i had the same problem on 2 sites because the customer was using Mozila fire fox as their DEFAULT browser.

Callpilot pilot requires IE to be the DEFAULT browser.
TRY IT?
Lets us know if it solved your problem!!!!

Im pretty sure that it is already but I will look next time I am there.
