It's only dialtone-VZ

you need to install npviewer...

i have the file with me

adill@ymail.com

are you having the same error as below,

Symptom:
Reports cannot be generated from a Client PC

Cause:
npviewer.exe may not have been installed on, or may have been removed from, the Client PC

Documentation states: The first time you view reports on a client PC (a PC other than the Web Host Viewer), an ActiveX viewer is installed on the Client PC from the Web Host PC. If this does not automatically happen, you cannot view reports.

Problem Resolution

Fix:
The Report Viewer window has a red X in the top left corner. If you see this you can start the installation process manually. On the Web Host PC in \Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\crystalreportviewers\ActiveXViewer\en locate the npviewer.exe file. Copy this file to the Client PC and execute it. This installs the ActiveX viewer.

Do you have the windows update activated on the host PC? I had a simular problem after the last Windows update, I did a system restore to a previous save date and it worked. Something to look at anyway.

Patch BCM400 with SU.Desktop.014 with RCC upgrade to 2.4.360 and reinstall RCC.Since you're patching, you can include the latest SU.system patch.022

-I'll look into NPViewer.exe

-someone did turn on windows update on the host PC. I have turned that off.( I think this is the reason)

- I have March's SU desktop on I'll try to update that also.

It's only dialtone-VZ

the latest .NET updates break RCC reporting.. i believe a patch is on the way

If its not broke tweak it..

Thanks TLDuk I was experiencing this problem on a 3.7 BCM 400
I saw your comment and noticed the server had .Net SP3 installed. I uninstalled .Net SP3 and .Net SP2 and the 'View Report' function started working again. It is apparent that one of the .Net updates broke it on 3.7 and 4.0 BCM's

Many Thanks to you.
