BCM400 4.0 Doorphone question

I had a doorphone die and all the spares I have are older units. I put this unit in about 5 years ago and at the time it seems like there was a issue with older doorphones and I had to get a newer model.

I just need to confirm if there is or is not a compatibility issue with the older doorphones. I have had many doorphone issue over the years and all updates are applied. I think it just failed and needs the newer part number doorphone.

It has to be a BST series doorphone. The older Norstar doorphones won't work on a BCM.

Thanks for the comformation.If I worked on these things more often I might remember some of this stuff. Thank God for the guys that do though.

You might want to install the latest SU_System patch because it include patches for doorphone as well.(Bcm 4.0 and doorphone were not a good match at first...!)
