I have a BCM400 3.6 that I had to replace the hard drive and power supply on a couple of months ago. Last week the customer's PRI dropped. This caused the system to reboot (not sure why), the voicemail didn't sync up and all the destination codes disappeared. I rebooted it to get voicemail back. I had to reprogram the destination codes. None of the routes were affected, they were all still there. No other programming seemed to be missing. Has anyone seen this happen and if so have any idea what might have caused it? Have been trying to get them to upgrade but so far they aren't willing to.

Before you did the BCM 3.6 restore, did you apply the same patches that were present when the last backup was done?. I think there are problems when doing a restore on the older BCM's that had no or different patches and this might explain why some of the programming was missing.

It would be easier if the system was upgraded to Linux at 4.0, but even that is now out of date.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Programmed from scratch because I didn't have the patch level. The programming disappeared about 2 months after the hard drive was replaced after the system rebooted itself. Looks like it may have been a fluke occurence. Been running for about a week now with no issues. Did a hard reboot just to make sure it didn't lose the programming and it came back up fine. Just thought I'd check and see if anyone had had this happen. Thanks for the reply.
