Can someone provide me with instructions on how to add a second phone number to my BCM200 v3.6? My current phone number comes in through a Bell Mega Link connection, and I'd like to know how I go about setting that new number up in the bcm after ive talked to bell's centrex department regarding moving the number to the mega link.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I had a feeling it was going to be in that area.

Maybe you could answer one more question for me, once I pull up the target lines, there are like 400 or so there. I know that my one current phone number is setup on line 241, but how will i know what line the new number lands on without have to go thru all 400 entries to see if there is received trunk line data?

Use Line 242 (the next one in line)
It's you or the tech that tells where to land and not the Telco. Thats why you need to enter the recieved digits, look at Line 241's recieved digits, if it's just the last 4 numbers then do same with line 242 by entering it's last 4 numbers of the phone number.

Ahh, ok that makes sense. Yes, line 241 just shows the last 4 digits of my current line (7223) is it normal for it not to show the first three digits (822)?

I will drop in the last 4 digits of the new number on line 242, thanks for the help! I hope it doesnt matter that the new numbers prefix is not 822 like the current number on 241.
