BCM200 3.7 NT locks up every 2 weeks

Cannot get to the bottom of this one i have a BCM200 running 3.7 its fully patched up but i keep loosing the NT services every 2 weeks or so the system needs a reboot i cannot even ping the unit, i have checked the BFT codes and the for the hardened MSC, its running Advance call center RCC and IPtrunks to a BCM50 any ideas

What is the Model # ie: NT7B10xx?

Your discribing the same thing I got on about 15 of my BCM's, and they were all BFT problems (Bd Caps)

its has allway been a 3.7 i need to check the Model number havent got it to hand but the check tool says its ok..

I have 2 versions of the Scan tool, 1 say's the BCM is OK the other say's it has the Bad Caps. I have several BCM's Pass with the 1 Scan tools the said it was OK but I had to replace the BFT to make it work. I have never had a MSC card go bad and only 1 Hard drive.

The model # is on a white lable on the back of the BCM.

you may have gotten it with 3.7 on it, but it could have been upgraded at the dealer.

The NT7B10AAFM is not on the list.

The Ver I have is
Ver IC27, mb_scan.exe dated 12/21/2005.

i`m thinking of changing the BFT anyway i`m out of options

I have 2 different copys of the same ver, 1 is 393K dated 6/3/2005 and it say this 1 BCM has the problem, the other copy is 927K dated 12/21/2005 and it say's the BCM is OK but it keeps failing. I changed the BFT and it is still working.

Ok after various e-mails Nortel have recommended running something called the universal profile from the serial port, I really have no idea what this is or what it does can anyone help ? will I loose any programming by doing this….

Open the BFT and look to see if the Caps are green. if they are look at the ones near the wide ribbon cable, there is a cluster of them. look for rounded top's and a gray substance leaking out of them. I had one last Friday that was leaking out the top, sides and bottom. this was the worst one I have had yet. I've had 18 BCM's with this problem in 1000's, 200's and 400's and it has never been anything but bad Caps on the motherboard.
