Has anyone tried this? Does anyone have any docs as to the config?

Haven't tried it with SIP, but I did it with H323 a few years ago.
Most of the problems were on the Call Manager side.
I would suspect SIP would be simpler, especially with the ease of config on BCM 6.0.

check out avaya development web site to see if it's been through the developer program. If not you won't get support from avaya.

sip on bcm is a cut down feature set. I only have the sip features implemented for 50r3, however it is worth stressing sip on bcm did not include all sip functionality - don't know about 50r6/450r6 though.
